Scott Sharrard
Scott Sharrard is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer whose music is deeply rooted in the rich traditions of rock, blues, soul, country, folk, and gospel. For Sharrard, music is about community, storytelling, and human connection.
Since 2019, he has been the lead singer and guitarist of Little Feat, contributing to Live at the Ryman (Grammy-nominated) and Sam’s Place (Grammy-nominated for Best Blues Album, 2024). He also served for many years as musical director, bandleader, and producer for Gregg Allman, co-writing the Grammy-nominated song My Only True Friend and helping bring Allman’s final album Southern Blood to life.
A highly respected collaborator, Sharrard has shared the stage with Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Tommy Emmanuel, and Hubert Sumlin. Alongside his work with Little Feat, he has released several acclaimed solo albums, including Saving Grace, recorded at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, and Rustbelt.
As a producer and mentor, Sharrard is dedicated to preserving the tactile, human spirit of music-making. He continues to work with artists across genres, develops projects for film and television, and teaches guitar and songwriting through TrueFire and private sessions.
